Selling your horse through Eponine Farms is simple and fast. It's the best choice for farms who need to sell large amounts of stock, or for people who need to get rid of particular horse or horses quickly.
How does it work?
It is important to understand that Eponine Farms is not a Sales Listing. You sell your horse to us under a contract and we will in turn sell your horse under that a contract that combines both your requirements and ours. [We will tell you what the contract will be before we buy the horse, so there should be no surprises.]
What if the two contracts have conflicting points?
If your contract conflicts with ours, we will speak to you about this before we purchase the horse. Generally, your requisite will win out over ours. It is, after all, your horse. However, in some circumstances, a compromise may be called for.
How will I be updated about my horse?
If you have an Eponine Farms account, we will keep in touch via PM. However, if you are a guest, we are more than happy to communicate via email or by contacting you on another site of your choice. You will be updated when your horse goes up for sale, any changes that may occur to your horse before/during sale, when a sale offer has been approved, when a sale is final, and any notifications we recieve from the new owner after sale.
Will my horse be put up for sale right after you buy it?
Maybe, but usually only if you request this. We update our stock by bringing in groups of new horses periodically. For example, we may update with a group of racehorses, a group of baroques, a group of mares, etc. So it all depends. However, your horse will be shown actively while not for sale and will kept on the site in our upcoming stock boards (not visible to regular members).
I have other questions that weren't answered here.
No problem! PM me, please, or inquire in a thread on this board.
